Global demand for food is estimated to double by 2050. The increased demand for food and resources will have major environmental and social impacts. 3GF supports initiatives and PPPs working for a greener and more effective food chain.

The world’s food, water and energy resources are already experiencing significant stress or shortfalls. In the next 20 years, demand for these resources is projected to increase significantly as populations, economies and consumption rates grow.

Governments and companies continue to face challenges in aligning domestic agriculture, export, import and resource management policies with global trade, development and environmental goals.

Meeting our future food, water and energy needs therefore presents a very real growth conundrum.

3GF works to intensify integrated solutions and coordination among diverse stakeholders so that barriers with supply‐chain bottlenecks, regulatory support, information failures, and capital intensity can be overcome.
