Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever, has confirmed his participation at the 3GF 2013 annual meeting. Unilever has for many years been focused on integrating sustainability into its biggest brands by linking sustainability and a virtuous circle of growth.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will host a regional 3GF focusing on green growth and renewable energy in Latin America and the Caribbean. The meeting will convene leaders from the private and public sector together with leading organisations on 18 June 2013 in Bogotá.

A preparatory meeting for 3GF 2013 will be held in Copenhagen on 1-3 May 2013. The aim of the meeting is to set the stage for the next Global Green Growth Forum, which will be focussed on improving resource efficiencies in the value chain.
The 3rd Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) will take place on 21-22 October 2013 in Copenhagen. The forum will be hosted by the Danish Government in partnership with the governments of China, Kenya, Korea, Mexico and Qatar.
The report from the 3GF meeting 2012 is now available. The report features highlights from the nearly 40 interactive sessions that took place during the 2-day forum, all focussing on how to achieve better resource efficiency through public-private cooperation across sectors and countries at the national and international level.
One of many concrete outcomes of this years’ 3GF high level forum in Copenhagen is the launch of the Alliance for Sustainable Energy Trade Initiatives – the SETI Alliance.
